About Jabari
Jabari Saunders is a senior-level marketing professional who’s spent the past decade executing programming and strategies for the world’s most notable, dynamic and high-performing athletes.
After years of playing professional basketball with teams in Luxembourg, Morocco, and Belgium, he moved back to The States and began his career in sports marketing. More than one decade later, Jabari has held exciting roles at global, iconic companies, such as Nike, Jordan Brand, and ESPN.
Jabari’s professional interests and skills include storytelling, product launches, large-scale brand activations, brand development & strategy, and athlete integration. His passion for storytelling led him to launch The Second Half Podcast where he talks to former professional and collegiate athletes about the highs, lows, losses and successes of life after the game ends.
Jabari holds a Masters of Sports Administration in Marketing from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from St. Xavier University. During the 2019 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity Awards, he received the Grand Prix Award in Industry Craft for his innovation and leadership for Nike’s large-scale Chicago activation, JDI at the Church.
